As the Premier League reaches the half-way point and we enter the new year, it’s time we go over what has been a tumultuous season to say the least.
After easing to the title last term, many pundits and fans had expected Chelsea to carry that form over to the new season.
After an erratic start against Swansea and then Manchester City, Chelsea’s form never recovered and have a measly five wins and 20 points from 19 games which eventually led to the dismissal of club legend Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink was once again called upon to save the Blues season.
Though this season has been one of agony rather than success, there are awards for players who have stood out, for the right or wrong reasons, so far in the 2015/16 campaign.
