It was a match billed as a ‘must win’ for both sides but in the end, it was a goalless draw between Manchester United and Chelsea.
Both goalkeepers, David de Gea for Manchester United and Thibaut Courtois for Chelsea, made excellent saves to keep the match at a stalemate while there were very few outfield players with anything to smile about after the match.
The point lifted Chelsea to 14th in the table after AFC Bournemouth lost 2-0 away to Arsenal.
