We begin with 30th August, Chelsea travelled to Goodison Park in one of their first few away games of last season. Nobody would have predicted that it would go on to be one of the games of the season.
Chelsea started like a house on fire and were 2-0 up within the first few minutes through goals from Diego Costa and Branislav Ivanovic.
Everton equalised through Kevin Mirallas, Steven Naismith and former Chelsea striker, Samuel Eto’o always scored for the Toffees. However, goals from Ramires, Nemanja Matic and another from Costa, as well as a Coleman own goal was too much for Everton.

One of the most memorable moments from the game came in the final moments when John Obi Mikel set up Costa’s second goal with a great back heel.
The game had a bit of everything, goals, cards. In the end, it finished 6-3 to the champions to be. It was a great game and an enjoyable one for the neutrals.
