Ray Wilkins says he thinks Chelsea’s players still back manager Jose Mourinho, despite the club’s current run of form.
Chelsea face Dynamo Kiev this evening at Stamford Bridge, and ahead of what represents a big game for the Blues’ chance of qualification into the next stage of the Champions League, both John Terry and Cesc Fabregas have publicly expressed their support towards Mourinho.
John Terry led a staunch defence in the pre-game press conference, whilst also comically calling out Robbie Savage for criticism.
Cesc Fabregas took to social media to show his desire for things to work out for the Portuguese manager and his side.
I would like to clarify that contrary to a few reports form some online websites, I am extremely happy at Chelsea (…)

There maybe certain individuals from the outside trying to destabilise this club …— Cesc Fàbregas Soler (@cesc4official) November 3, 2015
… but I strongly believe that we will bounce back and come good again.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Ray Wilkins gave his opinions on Saturday’s game.
I watched the game on Saturday and for the first five minutes when they went a goal up I thought they were outstanding. They went after Liverpool, made it really difficult for them, played fast and furious football which we were used to last season.
But then all of a sudden when they went a goal up they sat back and allowed Liverpool to dictate the game, I think 60 percent of the possession Liverpool had, and were the better side overall and deserved to win.

Wilkins also believes Chelsea will bounce back this evening from their loss to Liverpool.
When you are in the Champions League it is totally different, playing in the prime competition in world football. So their mentality will be totally right tonight. I agree with Mourinho, I think they will top the group and they will win this evening.
Three points this evening puts Chelsea in the driving seat for progress from Group G. The Blues currently sit 3rd with four points from three games.
