Chelsea right-back Branislav Ivanovic has set his sights on a return to football in time for the Blues’ game against Norwich City next month, according to the Daily Mail.
The Serbian international picked up a torn hamstring injury whilst featuring for his country in the European Championship qualifiers against Albania earlier this month.
Ivanovic has been struggling for form throughout this season prior to his injury, and his contract at Stamford Bridge is set to expire at the end of this current campaign.
Whilst Ivanovic has been on the sideline, boss Jose Mourinho has been playing French defender Kurt Zouma in his position on the occasions where Spaniard Cesar Azpilicueta hasn’t been switched to his more familiar position.

On Saturday, Mourinho’s side picked up their fifth defeat in the Premier League this season as West Ham pipped the current champions 2-1, following a first-half sending off for fellow Serbian, Nemanja Matic. Ivanovic is now stepping up his fitness in a push to be fit for next month.
