Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is confident that Chelsea are improving, despite falling to their fifth Premier League defeat this season against West Ham on Saturday afternoon.
Following the loss to Slaven Bilic’s side at Upton Park, the Blues are now sitting in 15th position in the Premier League table.
Just before the interval, Nemanja Matic was sent-off for two bookable offences and boss Jose Mourinho was also sent to the stands during the half-time break. First-team coach Silvino Louro was also dismissed from the dugout during the Matic incident.
Following Mauro Zarate’s opener, Gary Cahill got the visitors back in the game before English striker Andy Carroll came off the bench to secure the three points for the East London side.

Despite yet another frustrating performance for the current champions, and a disappointing loss to go with it, former Stoke City keeper Begovic is confident that he, and the rest of the team, are slowly but surely improving.
Speaking to the official club website, Begovic said:
We’re going to take it a game at a time – there is still a long way to go. This league is very unpredictable so we need to take care of our performances first – I think our performances are getting better so we just need to keep that going.
