Jose Mourinho has openly admitted he is prepared to shake the hands of Iker Casillas when the pair meet this evening in the Champions League.
According to AS, Mourinho addressed the situation during his pre-match press conference.
The pair did not exactly see eye to eye during Mourinho’s time managing Real Madrid. Mourinho dropped Casillas, who was preferred to Spanish goalkeeper, Diego Lopez who has since left for AC Milan.
Mourinho managed in Spain between 2010-2013, as his time there came to a close, reports surfaced about his relationship with the Madrid players, claims that he had ‘lost‘ the dressing room following long last disagreements with the likes of Casillas and Cristiano Ronaldo himself.

Which all but sealed his fate before he returned to Chelsea. Tonight’s game will be the pair’s first meeting in a competitive game since his departure.
Mourinho has vowed to shake his hand, but he clearly didn’t want to talk about it.
I’ll shake Iker Casillas’s hand before and after the game, don’t ask me any more questions about that.
The Chelsea boss went on to speak about tonight’s opponents.
Porto are leaders here in Portugal and that’s normal, the quality of the squad doesn’t surprise me. In my opinion they can win everything in Portugal and get out of the group stages in the Champions League. They’re a difficult team, I’m not expecting an easy match.
