Chelsea’s summer acquisition Pedro has backed the club to help him grow as a player. The Spaniard has said that the first team minutes that he is getting with Chelsea are helping his confidence and mentality. He told Sport-English that he backs team-mate Diego Costa to perform well for the Spanish national team.
When you have more minutes and play for your team, you have another rhythm, another confidence and another mentality, for this the national team and Chelsea have been very good for me to keep growing as a player,
Since arriving at Chelsea, Pedro has been a stand-out player for Jose Mourinho. Pedro scored on his debut and grabbed an assist against West Brom, whilst also looking lively in the 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace.

Pedro went on to give his opinion on Diego Costa, who was yet again unable to find the net for La Roja.
He lacks luck in front of goal but he’s working very hard, with a lot of enthusiasm and creating a lot of space for the team – what would be a plus would be if he finishes by bringing goals.
