Vicente del Bosque has given a vote of confidence to Diego Costa according to the Mail Online. The report from Reuters, says the Spanish manager has faith in the striker to come good in the red of Spain.
Costa failed to score in Spain’s 2-0 victory over Slovakia last night, but del Bosque insists he was happy with the players’ performance. The Chelsea striker was later substituted for Valencia striker, Pablo Alcacer with 15 minutes still to play.
Since deciding to play for Spain, instead of Brazil, Costa has scored just one goal.
Of course I would like him to score but he did some good work, against a team playing so defensively the player who has the most difficult job is the one in his position.

Costa has not enjoyed the best start to the new Premier League campaign either, scoring just the one goal so far this season, against West Brom. At this stage last season, he already had 7 goals to his name.
He moved well, he kept the defenders busy. We have to be patient. A lot of the time when he gets the ball he has his back to goal.
Costa will be hoping to find the net when Chelsea travel to Goodison Park when the team return from international duty.
