One of Chelsea’s summer signings Asmir Begovic has warned Chelsea’s doubters that Chelsea still have the quality to challenge for the title.
Speaking to the Daily Mail the Bosnian goalkeeper, currently away on international duty addressed Chelsea’s poor start to the season but reassured fans that they will improve and the quality is in the squad to still challenge Manchester City for the title come May.
It’s been a slow start but it’s nothing the guys haven’t dealt with before. We’ll overcome it and prove people wrong
Elsewhere in the interview Begovic referred to the doctor incident involving Eva Carneiro and Jon Fearn and suggested the squad is behind whatever manager Mourinho decides to do.

Begovic featured last night for Bosnia & Herzegovina in a 3-1 loss away to Belgium where he lined up against fellow Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois as well as Eden Hazard, who scored past the former-Stoke man. He should feature at home against Andorra on Sunday night before returning to Chelsea duty ahead of a trip to Everton.
