Eden Hazard has admitted that he doesn’t feel he will ever match the number of goals Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi score in a season, according to The Independent.
The 24-year-old has had a stuttering start to the 2015-16 season as Chelsea have only won four points out of a possible 12, losing to title rivals Manchester City along the way.
And Hazard, who is yet to score this season, with only one goal in his last 10 in the Premier League, has admitted how he will never be a true goalscorer.
Speaking to Sport/Foot Magazine, Hazard said: “I often ask myself what I can do to become like Messi and Ronaldo and score 50 or 60 goals in a season.
“I try, of course, but I realise that I will never be a true scorer. It’s not me. It is mainly mental. Sometimes I still think, after a goal, ‘that’s enough’.

“I’m not in search of record like some other players…if I can score between 15 and 20 goals each season, I will be very happy.
“I’m at a peak of my career, but I want to become even better every day. I’m not there yet.”
Hazard has become one of the most highly regarded players in world football since his £32m move to Stamford Bridge from Lille.
The Belgian scored 14 league goals last season, helping Chelsea win their first league title since 2010, as well as picking up numerous Player/Footballer of the Year awards.
