Loic Remy has set his sights on more game time this season under Jose Mourinho. Remy played a bit part role last season, despite impressing whenever he was called upon.
As a result of the lack of game time during his first season at Chelsea, speculation mounted over his future at Stamford Bridge. The French striker had been linked with moves to Crystal Palace and Loic Remy.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Remy said: “I want to bring everything I can to the team and I just want to do more as I think this season will be more difficult than the previous one,”.
Remy went on to add: “So, all the players must be better than last season and I just want to be better, play more and score more.” Remy could well be in with a chance of more first team action this season, fitness concerns have surrounded Diego Costa and Radamel Falcao during pre-season.
The 28 year old scored 7 league goals in 19 league appearances during the title winning season.
