Chelsea will continue to subsidise away travel to the Chelsea faithful during the 2015/16.
The club have announced via their official website that travel will be subsidised in a scheme that is in its 3rd year.
Transport to the away games will cost just £10 per person next season. As well as this, the club will be subsiding the cost of two more tickets than last year. The scheme is believed to have saved fans approximately £500,000 during the time it has been running.
As well as the discounted away games, Chelsea also announced earlier this year that a new discounted price for under 20’s will be put in place for the upcoming season. Chelsea chairman Bruce has been speaking on the club’s official website. He had this to say:
‘Our away form was the best in the Premier League last season and that was unquestionably helped by the fantastic support the team received all over the country, from the first game at Burnley to the last at West Bromwich.‘
Buck went on too add: ‘The commitment and loyalty our fans display every week is appreciated by all at Chelsea Football Club, so I am very pleased we can continue to help ease the financial strain by making travel and tickets for away matches cheaper.’
