Victor Moses could be handed a Chelsea lifeline, according to a report by Matt Lewis in Get West London. The winger spent last season on loan at Stoke and impressed at the Britannia Stadium.
Mark Hughes was believed to be hoping to see the winger remain at Stoke next season, however with the arrival of Marco Van Ginkel on loan, it is looking unlikely.
“I think Chelsea have a view on Victor,” Hughes said. “What they’re thinking we believe is that they would possibly like to keep him. If they go into the market again that could change that idea”. Last season, Moses made 19 league appearences and scored a total of 3 goals, as well as making 3 assists.
Mark Hughes went on too add: “There were a couple of injuries that hampered him unfortunately but he showed enough in his time with us that it made Chelsea very aware of the talent they have and what Victor could offer. It could be that Victor now plays a part at Chelsea.”
If Moses was to stay at Stamford Bridge, it would be likely to be only a rotational role within the side. Should we keep Victor Moses?
