When Mohamed Salah joined Fiorentina in January, it was reported a clause was included in the deal that the Italian outfit had the option to extend the loan of the winger, in return for a small fee for Chelsea.
After a successful spell in Italy, several clubs are queuing up for the services of the Egyptian, according to a report in the Independent, written by Jack De Menezes. After scoring 9 goals and managing 4 assists, Juventus, AS Roma and Inter Milan have all expressed interest in the winger.
It is now looking ever more likely that Salah will leave the club permanently rather than on another loan. Despite an improved contract offer from Fiorentina, Salah looks set to stay in Italy but not with Fiorentina. Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas confirmed to Gazzetta dello Sport: “We have decided, he’s not staying at Fiorentina, Salah is going to move to another Italian club.”
Abbas also mentioned that Salah had the option to reject the chance to join Fiorentina before the end of the June.
However Fiorentina are expecting Salah to return to the club to report for pre-season training, should he not, the Italian side are preparing legal action.
