Chelsea have completed a deal to bring Colombian striker Radamel Falcao to Stamford Bridge, according to Carl Worswick of the Guardian.
The move is thought to be a yearlong loan deal and it was confirmed by Falcao’s family that the deal was signed last night.
The 29-year-old joins temporarily from French club AS Monaco but the Blues have the option to make the move a permanent one at the end of the season.
Chelsea have been engaged in talks with Falcao’s representatives for quite a while with regards to the structure of the weekly pay package he will receive and the loan fee.
Manager Jose Mourinho and Falcao share the same agent, Jorge Mendes.
The Colombian international, who moved to Monaco in a big money deal from Spanish side Athletico Madrid, spent last season on loan with Manchester United.
The Red Devils chose not to make his move permanent after he scored just four goals in the league last season.
Chelsea are yet to confirm the deal.
