Chelsea boss José Mourinho has received a six month ban from driving and will be forced to pay £910. Why? For driving 60 mph in a 50 mph zone. What an absolute madman!
The offence took place in September 2014 when the Portuguese was caught by a speed camera on the A3 Esher bypass in Surrey. Mourinho had nine points on his license prior to the event, so this latest offence has resulted in the six month disqualification.
José’s lead foot will also hurt his wallet. In total, he’s had to cough up £910. Mourinho did not appear in court and opted not to reveal the numbers he makes, but the court has said that it would take the manager’s “significant income” into account. Be careful out there, José!
