Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has desired a move away from Chelsea since losing his number 1 spot to Thibaut Courtois and he has recently dropped a hint that he may not be moving too far from London. Cech has spent 11 years at Chelsea winning numerous trophies and establishing himself as one of the best ‘keepers in the Premier League.
But his time at Chelsea seems to be coming to a close as the Blues are willing to cash in on him. Arsenal are amongst some of the clubs interested in the Czech Republic international and his latest comments may have given them a boost in their pursuit. When asked about a move away from Chelsea, according to the Express Cech said:
“If I move it brings difficulties.”
“We must change everything, looking for housing, a school for children and so on.”
However, if the bid from a London-based club does not come through for him, Cech also states that he’ll be willing to entertain moves around Europe too.
“I look at all the options, regardless of the country. I will decide based on what for me and my family is the best. It does not matter whether it is England, Germany, France or Spain.”
