Swansea have entered the race to sign Loic Remy from Chelsea. Despite securing the Premier League, the potential for regular first team football may be very attractive to the French forward. Garry Monk is believed to be interested in Remy according to the Daily Mirror, who has also attracted interest from Crystal Palace.
Remy’s reported £80,000 a week wages has not put potential suitors off, however it is believed Remy would be required to take a wage cut should he decide to leave Stamford Bridge. Garry Monk may have more money to spend ahead of next season following the January departure of Wilfried Bony.
Chelsea are also reportedly in talks with Falcao, which could restrict Remy even more than his current situation. The 28 year old enjoyed a successful time when he managed to play, scoring seven Premier League goals. However his campaign was hindered with a number of injuries.
