Loic Remy has only managed to be a bit part player for Jose Mourinho’s men this season. Remy made just thirteen appearances for Chelsea this season, scoring seven goals in the process. Remy scored important goals for Chelsea throughout the season, including goals at home to Manchester City, away to Hull and two on the final day against Sunderland.
As a result of his performances when he has been called upon, reports suggest there could be a number of potential suitors over the summer for the French striker. Lyon legend Juninho has urged his former team to look to either Chelsea target Radamel Falcao or Loic Remy to improve their strike-force this summer.
The Brazilian told RMC: “Loic Remy, who does not play at Chelsea [would be good]. “These are the types of players that Lyon need to recruit to be at that level [needed in the Champions League]. Lyon could be in the market with the likes of Nabil Fekir and Alexandre Lacazette are both attracting interested after a strong season in Ligue 1.
